Art will have a life of its own. It begins with a
leap. Some combinations of things sharpen you
into a point.
Paul Klee was a painter and teacher of the
first half of the twentieth century. One may as
well call him a multitude of nouns, poet-artist
-comedian-musician. Would that be the truth?
Or rather, what would be the point? Each noun
is a multitude of verbs. That’s the brush.
